About Me

I’m Beth McConnell, a Certified Practising Counsellor specialising in Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder (OCD). I’ve been based on the Bellarine Peninsula for the past five years. This community has become home, and it’s where I’ve shaped my practice.

My approach is informed by both clinical training and lived experience of obsessive–compulsive conditions. I understand how consuming and overwhelming OCD can feel, and I strive to offer a space where people feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported.

Before entering private practice, I spent nine years working in community mental health with clients from diverse backgrounds. This experience grounded me in person-centred care and continues to shape the openness, respect, and sincerity I bring to my work.
