This page outlines important information about the way counselling is provided, your privacy, and your rights as a client.

Professional Standards

I am a Certified Practising Counsellor registered with the Psychotherapy & Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) (Registration No. 32304).

I work in accordance with the professional, ethical, and legal standards of:

Confidentiality

Your privacy is taken seriously. All information shared in counselling is treated as confidential and will not be disclosed without your consent, except where required by law.

Confidentiality may be broken only in the following circumstances:

  • If there is a risk of serious harm to you or another person

  • If there is suspected abuse or neglect of a child, young person, or vulnerable person

  • If records are subpoenaed by a court

  • Where disclosure is otherwise legally required

Where possible, I will aim to discuss any necessary disclosure with you beforehand.

Privacy & Collection of Personal Information

I collect only information that is necessary for the provision of counselling services, including:

  • Contact details

  • Relevant personal and health history

  • Session notes and treatment planning information

Your information is stored securely in accordance with privacy legislation and professional requirements.

Information is not shared with third parties without your written consent, unless required by law.

You have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal information

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Withdraw consent for information sharing at any time (where lawful)

Records & Storage

Clinical records are stored securely in password-protected systems and retained for the minimum time required under Australian professional and legal standards.

Records are accessible only to the practitioner, except when required for secure storage, system administration, or by law.

Appointments & Cancellations

Sessions are offered in 50-minute standard formats.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, you must give at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or non-attendance may incur the full session fee.

Telehealth Services

Telehealth sessions are delivered via a secure online platform. While every effort is made to ensure confidentiality and privacy, you are responsible for:

  • Attending sessions in a private space

  • Ensuring your own internet security and device privacy

Fees & Payments

Session fees:

50-minute counselling session: $85

Payment is required on the day of the session and is made via a secure electronic payment method.

Card details may be securely stored with your consent for the purpose of processing session fees. If you prefer not to have your card details stored, an invoice can be issued on the day of your appointment, with payment required within 24 hours, unless otherwise arranged.

This practice does not accept cash or in-person EFTPOS payments.

Scope of Practice

I provide counselling services for adolescents (aged 16+) and adults, with a clinical focus on Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

My work is informed primarily by Inference-Based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (I-CBT), with integrative elements where clinically appropriate.

I do not provide crisis services, psychiatric care, or emergency support.

If you require services outside my scope, I can help you explore appropriate referrals.

This practice is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or require urgent support, please contact:
